Aix\u00ed s\u2019obre el Dec\u00e0leg donat a Mois\u00e8s al mont Sina\u00ed. El poble sap prou b\u00e9 de quin \u00e8xode parla D\u00e9u; l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia de l\u2019esclavatge encara est\u00e0 impresa en la seva carn. Rep les deu paraules en el desert com a cam\u00ed de llibertat. Nosaltres les anomenem \u201cmanaments\u201d, subratllant la for\u00e7a d\u2019amor amb qu\u00e8 D\u00e9u educa el seu poble. La crida a la llibertat \u00e9s, en efecte, una crida vigorosa. No s\u2019esgota en un esdeveniment \u00fanic, perqu\u00e8 madura durant un cam\u00ed. De la mateixa manera que Israel al desert duu encara Egipte dins seu \u2015en efecte, sovint troba a faltar el passat i murmura contra el cel i contra Mois\u00e8s\u2015, tamb\u00e9 avui el poble de D\u00e9u duu dins seu lligams opressors que s\u2019ha de decidir a abandonar. Ens n\u2019adonem quan ens falta l\u2019esperan\u00e7a i vaguem per la vida com en un erm desolat, sense una terra promesa vers la qual encaminar-nos junts. La Quaresma \u00e9s el temps de gr\u00e0cia en el que el desert torna a ser \u2015com anuncia el profeta Osees\u2015 el lloc del primer amor (cf. Os 2, 16-17). D\u00e9u educa el seu poble, perqu\u00e8 abandoni els seus esclavatges i experimenti el pas de la mort a la vida. Com un esp\u00f2s ens atrau novament cap a ell i xiuxiueja paraules d\u2019amor als nostres cors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e8xode de l\u2019esclavatge a la llibertat no \u00e9s un cam\u00ed abstracte. Per tal que la nostra Quaresma sigui tamb\u00e9 concreta, el primer pas \u00e9s voler veure la realitat. Quan a la bardissa ardent el Senyor va atraure Mois\u00e8s i li va parlar, es va revelar immediatament com un D\u00e9u que veu i sobretot escolta: \u00abHe vist l\u2019opressi\u00f3 del meu poble a Egipte i he sentit com clama per culpa dels seus explotadors. Conec els seus sofriments, per aix\u00f2 he baixat a alliberar-lo del poder dels egipcis i fer-lo pujar des d\u2019Egipte cap a un pa\u00eds bo i espai\u00f3s, un pa\u00eds que regalima llet i mel\u00bb (Ex 3, 7-8). Tamb\u00e9 avui arriba al cel el crit de tants germans i germanes oprimits. Preguntem-nos: ens arriba tamb\u00e9 a nosaltres? Ens sacseja? Ens commou? Molts factors ens allunyen els uns dels altres, negant la fraternitat que ens uneix des de l\u2019origen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al meu viatge a Lampedusa, davant la globalitzaci\u00f3 de la indifer\u00e8ncia vaig plantejar dues preguntes, que s\u00f3n cada vegada m\u00e9s actuals: \u00abOn ets?\u00bb (Gn 3,9) i \u00abOn \u00e9s el teu germ\u00e0?\u00bb (Gn 4, 9). El cam\u00ed quaresmal ser\u00e0 concret si, en escoltar-les de nou, confessem que seguim sota el domini del Fara\u00f3. \u00c9s un domini que ens deixa exhaustos i ens torna insensibles. \u00c9s un model de creixement que ens divideix i ens roba el futur; que ha contaminat la terra, l\u2019aire i l\u2019aigua, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 les \u00e0nimes.
