En aquest esdeveniment veiem la resposta que el Senyor va donar als seus deixebles quan li van manifestar incomprensi\u00f3 cap a Ell. De fet, poc abans s\u2019havia produ\u00eft un aut\u00e8ntic enfrontament entre el Mestre i Sim\u00f3 Pere, qui, despr\u00e9s de professar la seva fe en Jes\u00fas com el Crist, el Fill de D\u00e9u, va rebutjar el seu anunci de la passi\u00f3 i la creu. Jes\u00fas el va reprendre en\u00e8rgicament: \u00abFuig d\u2019aqu\u00ed, Satan\u00e0s! Em vols fer caure, perqu\u00e8 no penses com D\u00e9u, sin\u00f3 com els homes\u00bb (Mt 16,23). I \u00absis dies despr\u00e9s, Jes\u00fas prengu\u00e9 Pere, Jaume i Joan, el germ\u00e0 de Jaume, els dugu\u00e9 dalt una muntanya alta\u00bb (Mt 17,1).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019evangeli de la Transfiguraci\u00f3 es proclama cada any el segon diumenge de Quaresma. En efecte, en aquest temps lit\u00fargic el Senyor ens pren amb Ell i ens porta a un lloc apartat. Fins i tot quan els nostres compromisos diaris ens obliguin a romandre all\u00ed on ens trobem habitualment, vivint una quotidianitat sovint repetitiva i a vegades avorrida, per la Quaresma se\u2019ns convida a \u201cpujar dalt una muntanya alta\u201d amb Jes\u00fas, per a viure amb el Poble sant de D\u00e9u una experi\u00e8ncia particular d\u2019ascesi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019ascesi quaresmal \u00e9s un comprom\u00eds, animat sempre per la gr\u00e0cia, per a superar les nostres faltes de fe i les nostres resist\u00e8ncies a seguir Jes\u00fas en el cam\u00ed de la creu. Era precisament el que necessitaven Pere i els altres deixebles. Per a aprofundir el nostre coneixement del Mestre, per a comprendre i acollir plenament el misteri de la salvaci\u00f3 divina, realitzada en el do total d\u2019ell mateix per amor, hem de deixar-nos conduir per Ell a un lloc desert i elevat, distanciant-nos de les mediocritats i les vanitats. \u00c9s necessari posar-se en cam\u00ed, un cam\u00ed costa amunt, que requereix esfor\u00e7, sacrifici i concentraci\u00f3, com una excursi\u00f3 per la muntanya. Aquests requisits tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n importants per al cam\u00ed sinodal que, com a Esgl\u00e9sia, ens hem comprom\u00e8s a realitzar. Ens far\u00e0 b\u00e9 reflexionar sobre aquesta relaci\u00f3 que hi ha entre l\u2019ascesi quaresmal i l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia sinodal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el \u201crec\u00e9s\u201d a la muntanya del Tabor, Jes\u00fas va portar amb Ell tres deixebles, escollits per a ser testimonis d\u2019un esdeveniment \u00fanic. Va voler que aquesta experi\u00e8ncia de gr\u00e0cia no fos solit\u00e0ria, sin\u00f3 compartida, com ho \u00e9s, al cap i a la fi, tota la nostra vida de fe. A Jes\u00fas hem de seguir-lo junts. I junts, com Esgl\u00e9sia pelegrina en el temps, vivim l\u2019any lit\u00fargic i, en ell, la Quaresma, caminant amb els qui el Senyor ha posat al nostre costat com a companys de viatge.\u00a0An\u00e0logament a l\u2019ascens de Jes\u00fas i els seus deixebles a la muntanya del Tabor, podem afirmar que el nostre cam\u00ed quaresmal \u00e9s \u201csinodal\u201d, perqu\u00e8 el fem junts pel mateix cam\u00ed, deixebles de l\u2019\u00fanic Mestre.
